The "Mountains and Seas" Pen Holder
The inspiration for this pen holder design comes from multiple classic elements of Chinese traditional culture: overall, the main body is shaped like a Chinese drum, with a beast-faced relief carving on the drumhead and a dragon pattern exposed below. The drum body is engraved with the pattern of gold and silver inlay from the Warring States period; the base is two Tang dragons emerging and disappearing in the waves, with the waves gathering behind them to encircle a mountain. Of course, "Mountains and Seas" is a uniquely Chinese romanticism that includes our reverence for nature and our complete freedom of imagination. So in this pen holder, I have combined various romantic classical elements that I am fond of. I am fascinated by the mysterious totems and symbols of Chinese civilization, and this work, with mountains and seas, dragons and beasts, is a small but comprehensive representation of them. I look forward to using this work to interpret my and the Xencelabs Matisse brand's shared pursuit: concentrating extraordinary talent and achieving divine brushstrokes.
《山海》笔座
这个笔座设计的灵感来源来自中国传统文化的多个经典：整体上来说，主体是一个中国大鼓的样子，鼓面是兽面纹浮雕，下方则露出汉代龙纹。鼓身刻有战国时期金错银的纹样；下方基座是两条出没波涛的唐龙，波涛在后方相聚，把一座山峰环绕。《山海》当然是中国人特有的浪漫，包含了我们对自然的敬畏和完全自由的想象。所以在这个笔座里我融合了各种各样我钟情的浪漫古典元素。我着迷中华文明那些神秘的图腾和符号，这个作品，有山有海，有龙有兽。笔座虽小，但却包含万物。我期待用这个作品诠释我和Xencelabs马蒂斯品牌共同的追求：凝聚非凡，下笔有神。
